# 250 tons move by Schares on a 6-axle SPMT

One of the new self-propelled modular transporters has been used to move a generator.

German company **Schares** is a new player in the handling of transport challenges with self-propelled technology. Cometto is their reliable partner for the supply of the appropriate equipment.

One of the new 6-axle **self-propelled modular transporters** has now been used to move a 250-ton **generator**.

### SPMT with a technical payload capacity of 1,020 tons

The compact SPMT vehicle is part of an important order that was concluded between Cometto and Schares. In total, their fleet of [self-propelled modular vehicles](/modular-systems/spmt-self-propelled-modular-transporter/) is now composed of four 6-axle modules type MSPE 6/4, two Power Packs Units with an output of 129kW each and different accessories.

The complete volume of 24 axle lines offers a technical payload capacity of 1,020 tons! Besides this impressive figure, the **self-propelled trailers** excel thanks to their **versatility in configuration** and their maneuverability.
