# Transformer move in Southern Italy

Fagioli used a 20 axle lines SPMT by Cometto for the transport from transshipment area up to site.

**Fagioli** heavy road transport department was involved in a transport of a transformer and final positioning in Southern Italy.

Fagioli S.p.A. used a **20 axle lines SPMT** by Cometto for the transport from transshipment area up to site.

It was necessary to reinforce a bridge for the passage of the convoy.

Once at the power station, the **transformer** was stored and a jacking down operation performed with jacks allowed the item to be lowered at ground level.

Final operation was a skidding procedure in order to move the transformer at its final positioning.
