Velebit Promet d.o.o. & Liburnia Maritime Agency Ltd., long-standing and loyal customers of the Faymonville Group, have expanded their fleet with a Cometto solution, further strengthening their heavy transport capabilities.
The delivery includes 8 axle lines of the self-propelled MSPE range, designed to meet among others the demanding requirements of heavy transport operations in port environments.
The MSPE stands out due to its advanced electronic steering system, which ensures maximum maneuverability and precision, even in confined spaces such as warehouse areas and quay zones. With an impressive axle load capacity of up to 70 tonnes, the vehicles are ideally suited for transporting extremely heavy components like transformers, industrial parts or project cargo.
In addition, the lifting stroke enables efficient and safe autonomous loading and unloading, reducing the need for external lifting equipment and improving overall operational efficiency.
The Cometto experts gave a detailed instruction session to the Velebit team for an optimum use of the new technology.
Velebit & Liburnia will deploy these vehicles in ports and industrial environments in Croatia and the wider region, where they will be used to transport transformers from storage facilities directly to the quay as well as for different heavy cargo projects.
This application highlights the MSPE’s capability to handle complex logistics tasks in industrial and maritime environments, ensuring reliable and precise movement of oversized cargo.
