The SYT has impressive dimensions, with a length of 18 meters and six meters width.

The shipbuilding industry meets the new challenges of the actual times with sustainability and efficiency in the construction process of the ships.

The Finnish company Rauma Marine Constructions is the expert for demanding challenges dealing with ships of the future.

They are able to build modern specialised vessels, from car and passenger ferries to icebreakers, to government and research vessels.

They operate at the Seaside Industry Park in Rauma where their new shipyard transporter by Cometto, SYT,  will master shortly its first jobs.

The transporter has impressive dimensions, with a length of 18 meters and six meters width. The SYT can handle ship sections and ship elements with a net capacity of 472 tons.

The 7-axle vehicle with five driven suspension has been transported to the port of Livorno by the Italian company Arienti. They came across with their new 12-axle Faymonville CombiMAX combination to pick up the oversized load.
