The Peruvian company Oretrans uses its BladeMAX1000 high-tech device for the national wind project in San Juan de Marcona.

It is an outstanding mission, as the new renewable facility will consist of 23 wind turbines with a forecast capacity of 5.7 MW that will produce energy equivalent to 608 gigawatt-hours.

The construction work on the wind farm began in April 2022. Oretrans has a key position within this mission as they are able among other to transport the rotor blades to their installation site.

Their newly achieved BladeMAX1000 with a lifting capacity of 1000mT enables even the XXL wind blades with a length of 82 meters used there to be moved over obstacles and hills on the narrow and winding routes in Peru.

The device is assembled on 12 modular axle lines and towed by a 8x4 truck.

After the successful connection of the blades and the BladeMAX, the journey started for the impressive combination. When the team reached first tricky corners, the operator raised up the blade up to a maximum of 60°.
