UK customer Balfour Beatty Vinci is a central player for biggest construction jobs and received now 16 axle lines of Cometto SPMT with a total payload capacity of approx. 720 tons.
As they ordered also four Power Pack Units with 129 kW each, they are able to form four 4-axle units that keep compact but powerful.
The main accessories are two laser scanner systems mounted on each of the four independent convoys. There is one laser in front of the PPU and one on the rear of each 4-axle module.
Additionally, there is an automatic fire extinguishing system installed on each Power Pack Unit for a maximum safety in tunnels or elsewhere.
