96 axle lines towards Australia

ANI with their Cometto MSPE Evo3 fleet to move heaviest ship sections of world class naval vessels.

70 tons per axle line! That’s tremendous! That’s powerful! And that’s the highest value available on the market – only possible with the MSPE Evo3 by Cometto!

The Australian Naval Infrastructure Pty (ANI) has already 120 axle lines in use to move heaviest ship sections of world class naval vessels.

And now, the first lot of another 96 axle lines starts its journey over the ocean towards Australia. “The supply includes two Power Pack Units with an output of 368 kW each. The complete delivery will give ANI the ability to enforce their total payload capacity of more than 14,000 tons to ensure the manufacturing of the future generation of surface ships and submarines”, explains Alberto Di Stefano as the responsible Export Area Manager.

With the 70 tons payload per axle line, the Australian specialists keep the self-propelled combination as compact as possible to reach their destination between the different construction steps of the ships.

ANI had a very successful experience with the MSPE self-propelled units since 2019 and is impressed by the quality, reliability and performance of the Cometto product.

Thank you for the confidence, we are proud to deliver our knowhow and to be part of the world of experts.
