Hüffermann Group buys 20 axle lines SPMT from Cometto

The customer provides the 2,430 millimetre wide Cometto MSPE model with 48 tons axle line load.

With the acquisition of 20 axle lines from the Cometto MSPE range, the Hüffermann Group gets suitable transport equipment for upcoming heavy-duty transport missions. The self-propelled electronically steered modular fleet is ideal for jobs in industry and bridge construction, plant and ship construction as well as for projects in the tightest areas.

“Due to some pre-deliveries by Faymonville road combinations, the Hüffermann company was convinced of the quality from the Faymonville Group”, declares Daniel Janssen as the managing shareholder of the company. "Due to the optimal combination possibility of the SPMT with the lifting system / JS system from Enerpac, we can optimally complement our heavy load assembly & engineering division," adds Rocco Schimmel, Operations Manager of Eisele AG - Crane & Engineering Group in Maintal / Frankfurt a.M.

In addition to Hüffermann Krandienst with locations between Bremen, Oldenburg and Stade, the nationwide companies include the Thömen Group with locations in Hamburg, Brunsbüttel, Leipzig and Potsdam, as well as in the Rhine-Main region Eisele AG and Autodienst West in Maintal / Frankfurt a.M. The group acts as a full-service provider in the field of crane & heavy load logistics and offers all services "from a single source".

“Hüffermann now supplements the extensive and widely ramified crane fleet with the extraordinarily powerful Cometto horizontal SPMT transport system with a current payload of 868 tons”, says Joachim Kolb, sales manager from Cometto. The customer provides the 2,430 millimetre wide Cometto MSPE model with 48 tons axle line load and strengthens in the first step the branch Eisele in Maintal-Bischofsheim. The delivery consists of two 6-axle bogies, two 4-axle bogies, a Powerpack Unit with 368 kilowatt and another one with 129 kilowatt as well as a turntable set for a 500 tons load.

During the vehicle acceptance at Cometto site in Borgo San Dalmazzo/Italy, the Cometto team thanks the representatives Simon Schewe (Head of Finance Hüffermann Group) and Rocco Schimmel (Operations Manager Eisele AG) for the confidence in this important investment for the future of the Hüffermann Group that is also now … propelled to the MAX!
