Project cargos

Project loading describes the national and international transport of large, heavy, high quality or critical equipment. Commonly referred to as heavy goods.

On account of their shape, weight or sensitivity, certain loads cannot be transported in standard containers.

Examples of this are large turbines, parts of dock cranes or wind power plants, factory modules or components for the oil and gas industry.

Characteristic of heavy goods is the lack of standardisation of the packages, which as opposed to containers or bulk goods necessitate individual transport planning.

Heavy goods are usually transported in a one piece or in large individual parts.
